ATHENS
3rd October-6th October 2007

Othodox Church next to our hotel in Glyfada

Athen's Nightlife

The dogs in Athens are the guardians of the city, they were everywhere (almost sleeping) but barking to suspicious people

The Pantenon

The Pantenon is still being repaired. When I saw it in 2000 it was in the same situation,...ufff

We had the opportunity to visit The Acropolis. Jose Luis, a man from Bilbao (the Vasc Country), came with us. It is the second time that I visit the Acropolis. The fist time I visited it I met my friends Gorka and Yesenia, also from the Vasc country,..jaja (but they are from another city: San Sebastian).
We had a great time there, but it was again really really hot.

The Zeus Temple

The conference was in Glyfada, 15 minutes away from Athens. We had to take a tram to go to Athens. The trip was nice, the tram was going next to the sea.
Here we are with Susana, a girl from Madrid.

Working hard in the conference :)

Greek tobbacco.
The people who smoked were happy, it was not possible to understand the bad things that are going to happen to them,...jaja

After the conference we were invited to a great dinner in a beautiful place next to the mediterranean sea. We ate with some Spanish and French people.

Our evenings in the hotel :)

My coworker Patricia and I, went to Greece to attend to a real virtuality conference. The main goal was to get in some working groups that are investigating about vistual reality, so we had to present a poster to introduce our company and the projects we are doing about virtual reality.

We get in 3 working groups: Virtual Reality for culture & entertainment, VR for testing and prototyping and VR for design and engineering!!

We meet a lot of people from many countries, mainly from Europe, and of course from all around Spain!

The first night in Greece. We went to have dinner downtown, where there are a lot of shops,...
